Dweb solutions does not have a lot of rigid hierarchy. Instead, it has a multi-variate spread spectra of responsibility to serve up packets as part of participation in the whole. The message is “distribution of power”. It is not about the network any more, it is about giving control back to people.
We humans seem to conserve our problems. Was it only a network problem to begin with? Or were/are the drivers/constraints (also) of an economical and political nature? Would we be trading our current problems for a new set of problems IPFS introduces if we ignore these drivers/constraints? How does the dweb come together when no one is in charge? And how do we make sure things don’t just become centralised again, the system repeating itself, particularly when there are companies that want to make money?
